Four of Madden NFL's most recent cover players were quarterbacks. This makes sense since our top choice is one who is able to play with the center position. Following a season in 2020 which he was an MVP quarterback, Bills quarterback Josh Allen makes a great choice for the next installment of the Madden videogame franchise. After appearing in the AFC Championship, Allen set career records in passing yards and passing touchdowns. Allen was Buffalo just one step away from the Super Bowl appearance. At this stage in his career, Allen is already a star. Allen is a favorite of the Bills Mafia would like to see Allen's picture and logo on the cover of the Super Bowl.
If you're not going to play quarterback defense and you don't want to cover the quarterback, I don't see why you should overlook Derrick Henry. In fact there was a possibility of a leak in March that suggested Henry as the cover's athlete. Although it's not known the likelihood that Henry will make the cover of this year's issue, it is sure that he's worthy. At times, the big-bodied running back appears to be something from a video game as He slams into defenders regularly. Henry led the league in rushing in back-to-back years and also beat every skill position player in 2020, which was the highest number of years at the scrimmage (2141). Madden NFL covers are not possible if you have 126.7 yards per game.
Although you might be laughing at the idea of one of the defensive players getting on the Madden NFL Cover, it's not unusual. Richard Sherman was the last defensive player who was the cover player for the franchise in Madden NFL 15 and prior to that we saw the likes of Troy Polamalu (shared with Larry Fitzgerald, Madden NFL 10) and Ray Lewis (Madden NFL 2005) get on there too. If you're looking at that side of the ball as a cover athlete there's a player who is more dominant than Donald who has been in the 99 Club for four straight seasons. With this in mind, the only place to climb is getting onto the right side of the ball.
After the teaser's release earlier this week, everyone believed it was the case. It's not a secret that Tom Brady is considered the greatest quarterback ever (G.O.A.T), and Patrick Mahomes is widely considered to be the next great quarterback. So, it's only logical to not only think there's a chance -- or even a likelihood that there are two sportsmen on the cover. But when EA Sports trots out an older goat and a young goat in the teaser it's hard not to think of Brady and Mahomes. Both quarterbacks are no stranger to the Madden NFL cover, with Brady playing on it for Madden NFL 18 and Mahomes following the pattern a few years after to cover Madden NFL 20.
It's admittedly somewhat boring when this is the pairing since it's as if the two were only on the cover a short time before. It is appropriate, considering they played toe-to-toe during the Super Bowl last year.
EA Job Listing: Madden Could Be Coming to a Switch
Madden NFL used to be a regular appearance on Nintendo platforms however we haven't seen it for nearly 10 years after Madden NFL 13 on Wii U. EA is still offering annual updates for FIFA (even when they're "legacy editions"), EA previously said they didn't plan to release the game on the Switch back in 2018. However, a recently released job advertisement suggested Madden could finally be out.
Doctre81 on YouTube found the listing "Online Software Engineer (C++ ) - Madden" earlier in November 2020. In the job requirements the job description, there is a section that asks for 2 years of experience with "Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo gaming consoles". It may not sound too impressive, but previous EA postings haven't had Nintendo in their requirements.
At the very minimum, EA could be investigating an eventual release. Remember that EA had previously announced that it would release seven Switch games during the 12-month period beginning in June 2020. There are six confirmed games from June 2020. This includes Apex Legends it was announced in the last week of this week.
There's still one to go. But given the annual release schedule for Madden, EA could potentially be waiting until the inevitable Madden NFL 22 - as opposed to the Madden NFL 21 port - because they usually launch in August. Let's hope this isn't another older version.
Madden NFL 21 Predicts Super Bowl LV
This weekend is set to play host to Super Bowl 55, the culmination of one of the most tumultuous seasons in the history of the NFL ever. The teams that will be competing this year's contest have been selected. In a battle between the top NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes The Kansas City Chiefs will face against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Electronic Arts will celebrate the Super Bowl by running a Madden NFL simulation, as has become a custom. This year's Madden NFL 21 simulation appears to predict a thrilling game.
The current Madden NFL 21 Super Bowl simulation witnessed the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tom Brady win by a score of 37-27. Unfortunately, EA didn't provide much in the way of a statistical breakdown or play-by-play in this year's simulation. What it did provide is that the Buccaneers take an early 13-7 lead, and that the Kansas City Chiefs go up 14-13 at halftime. The second period clearly shows both teams' offenses accelerate.
Madden NFL 21 has the game tied at 27 with six minutes left in the fourth quarter. It's at this point that the Super Bowl summary from EA isn't a complete story for what happens. Mahomes running in the red zone results in a touchdown in favor of the Chiefs. Fans will need to guess where the Chiefs will be able to score their field goal and what their defensive stop are that prevent the Buccanneers scoring again. Six minutes in the last six minutes is a major win for the Chiefs.
EA did not release a complete video of Madden NFL 21 Super Bowl 55 simulation. This is the first time. Instead, it offered a video packed with gameplay clips and commentary from actor King Keraun portraying his Madden spokesman influencer The Spokesplayer. EA isn't sure if they play one game, or if they simulate multiple games and select the top. It's also not clear how EA does their simulation. This is the official Super Bowl 55 prediction for Madden NFL 21. If you want to know more about Madden 22 coins, you can visit mmoexp.com
