As February is winding down, NBA 2K22 has come close to 2K22 MT the final season of their MyTeam mode, scheduled for February 25. And with it comes the big news about some things coming in season five. The producer Jonathan Smith joined Constant Walker on the official NBA2K Twitch channel during their Logo Show broadcast, teasing about a few topics to come that have the basketball community buzzing.
While there was no concrete information revealed during the event, what the audience got was enough to trigger discussion on the internet about the details of what NBA 2K22's fifth season will contain. Smith refused to entertain any attempts at digging deeper to get additional information, however, he announced his Wednesday's Courtside Report is coming shortly and that more details will be announced in the next few days.
The stream was at 13 minutes when Smith appeared on stream, and was asked an answer to a question regarding the upcoming season of MyTeam which is a game where players can purchase and gain packs of cards, form teams, and take part in tournaments. One of the biggest news announcements to be released will be the announcement that the Dark Matter card being the reward for achieving level 40, marking the first time a card of this rarity can be purchased for free.
Smith did not provide any names, however he added that two new players will be making their debuts to NBA 2K MT Coins MyTeam and one of them is available at the level 1 of MyTeam while the other player will be a member within The Unlimited series. Interesting is the fact that their introductions as unique, something the producers haven't successfully attempting within this game.
