It's advertising. Anything posted to some brand's social media is advertising. To be honest, this is the first I've heard about the reveal. It's currently on my radar as a result of Mut 21 coins this tweet, therefore it is still advertising. This is not doing anything though and quite frankly some people have had our intelligence insulted way too much with all the slew of dumb fucking"we stand with you via covid" advertisements by companies lately. These very same companies that are actively fucking over their employees in this outbreak. Like seriously, Amazon of all fucking firms has a God damn covid advertisement with some asshole preaching about how much the business is doing to safeguard it's workers which those who have followed recent events would understand is complete fucking bullshit. It is a damn joke frankly.

EA is the big corp in the gaming world. They say and do whatever will bring them greatest profit. All these were acts of protest against racial discrimination and the government during the Donald Trump presidency. Much like anyone's losing sleep over a (probably) cinematic trailer promoting a game that'll just be exactly the same as last season's. Comes off as EA hoping to get people to forget that they recently renewed basically a complete monopoly on NFL games which majorly pissed off sports game lovers.

EA trying to get people to forget they renewed basically a complete monopoly on NFL games that majorly pissed off sports sport fans. EA and NFL didn't force eachother to a decision. I'm sure they are both happy to make bucketloads of cash. Folks only need to blame the party they despise the most. The NFL frankly doesnt care in any way, they just care about their image and gains, they know the picture the nfl's had under EA and are satisfied with that ongoing without taking"risk" in seeing other publishers could introduce their brand. Many people outside echochambers similar to this one don't care.

Yeah we keep saying that. Majority of Reddit won't purchase it. Why the fuck will EA care when they still make complete bank on the match. The teaser trailer from a few weeks ago had a peek at the in-engine footage. EA does something most people would regard as good and people find ways to buy Madden 21 coins make it poor. Because a fair amount of cynicism towards corporate gestures of"solidarity" is healthy. It's not entirely indifferent, but for example, we've seen this with pride month. Most companies just started doing it once they knew it was fiscally safe to come out in support. It is almost definitely a calculated business move. Does not make it a bad thing. Look at Netflix writers. A lot of them have publicly stated that they've desired x race or x sexuality character in shows they have wanted to create, just for different studios to tell them to tone it down or eliminate it completely. Netflix does not tell these people to write stories like that, they have just given them the liberty to. Same with HBO.
