This type of tinnitus guard is difficult to diagnose even with in-center testing options. But hearing aids are expensive and they get easily broken, they are not water-resistant, and could break easily when stepped on. It also makes sense to say that tinnitus does appear to be more severe with tinnitus guard. For most children, as long as they get the care they need when they have an infection, this will never be a problem, but for other children, tinnitus guard is a possibility. There is still not much that can be done with the sensorineural problem.
